Explaining the tiers

Firstly I'd like to state that the tiers are just breaks I added to a list of best to worst champions to make them easier to read, this means the usefulness of Graves in tier 1 is not much more then the usefulness of Kayle in tier 2, while it is a much larger difference in ability level from Kayle to Shyvana, even though they are both in tier 2. 

Now that that's been said:
God Tier: These guys dominate, they got there by having a great win/loss ratio AND by having a large impact on each game they're in AND by having a good K/D/A. 
Tier 1: These guys are very powerful champions in ARAM, they have fairly consistently performed well in the games I've seen, and I'm confident that they will continue performing well in the future. 
Tier 2: These are the average champions.  They can be just average or above average at many things, or great at something, but fall flat if that fails.  A good example of this is Blitzcrank, who can be God Tier if he lands great hooks for his team, but can also lose his game hard if he keeps on grabbing minions or that pesky Rammus. 
Tier 3: These guys are just a bit below average.  I might consider re-rolling if I was sitting on 2 free rerolls and/or the champ didn't fit into the team-comp very well. 
Tier 4: These guys are either weaker versions of tier 2 champions or have consistently performed poorly (or haven't been seen enough by me to see them ever perform well).  I would strongly consider rerolling if I random one of these champions. 
If you end up stuck with one of them, don't dispair, I have seen them do well on rare occasions, I even ranked Ashe as Dominating (my highest ranking) one of her seventeen games I saw her in.  Some are very good at something useful, even if that's just focusing down the guy that Blitzcrank pulled. 

The reasons why I put each champion where they are

I will create a new blog post sometime in the near future explaining why I put every single champion where I put them.  As always I'm open to educated opinions, questions comments and concerns.  (I'll also have a short discussion on how I feel the meta has changed in ARAM).
